Novice Divers' Meet

The Novice Divers' Meet took place on Monday, August 8th at Western Lachine Recreation Centre.

This annual development meet is open to anyone from any ALPS club who has never competed in a meet sanctioned by Plongeon Quebec or in an organized winter 'club' meet.

ALPS Diving Finals 2010 - Sunday, August 22nd

Due to the cold and rainy weather, the ALPS Diving Finals were held in the indoor pool at the Malcolm Knox Aquatic Centre on DouglasShand in Pointe Claire. Many thanks to the city of Pointe-Claire for hosting our event. And a big thatnk you to all of the volunteers and officials who contributed their time and efforts to running the competition.

Here are the individual scores and pool placements.

Winner of the Male High Aggregate Score trophy - Matthew Fyfe from Windermere pool with 52.77 average points per dive
Winner of the Female High Aggregate Score trophy - Michelle Malcom from Cedar Park pool with 44.51 average points per dive.
Amazingly, Michelle won this trophy in 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010! She follows in the footsteps of her grandfather Carmen Bradley who won the Male High Aggregate award in 1964 and 1965, diving for Dorval.
Congratulations, Michelle!
